Takoradi City Centre Redevelopment Scheme
This includes high rise buildings shopping arcade, car parking lot, offices as well as residences. These would cover the area known as the Ahenfie stretch, opposite Zenith Hotel.

Multi-Stoprey Car Park

The area behind the old Glamour building, Takoradi is proposed for a commercially viable double storey car park.

Permanent Fair Site

The abandoned Sekondi Railway Station is proposed for a permanent trade fair site and warehouses, museum, pavilions, parking lot.

Development of Youth Recreation Centre, Essikadu Estate

An abandoned playing field at Essikado. Sekondi is earmarked for a Youth Recreation Centre to cater for badminton, tennis courts, computer room/internet cafe and football field with stands rehabilitated for spectators.

Development of Industrial Estate

Plot of land available at Sofokrom for development into an Export Processing Zone (EPZ).

Essei Lagoon Leisure Complex

The embankment of Essei Lagoon at Bakano had been proposed for leisure complex.

Modernisation of Sekondi Market

Currently composed of only ground floor stores, the Sekondi Central Market is available for expansion project including construction of upper stores.

Bus Stops Projects

Various ceremonial routes in the twin city are available for location of branded bus shelters and seats for passengers.

Regional Theatre

Uncompleted project near fijai Fire Station is available for development.

Takoradi Market Expansion

This is part of the redevelopment of the inner segment of the Takoradi Market, including the replacement of shanty wooden stalls with concrete structures.

Gyandu Park Redevelopment

This involves complete redevelopment of the present Gyandu Park into a modern Stadium of international standard.
